Stephanie Stutzman likes to say she was born and raised here but was born in Missouri. She moved here at the young age of three. So, Sarasota is the only home she has known. Stephanie grew up in the building industry also but on the development and design side of building. Her Grandad moved here in the 1970s and started his development and contracting business. He developed and built many neighborhoods in the Sarasota and Bradenton area. Her grandmother was the designer for all the projects. Her grandparents would go to work with her in tow. She would “play” with all the fun stuff at the office. Eventually going to work with her Grandad as she got older. This exposure sparked an ember in her that would take many years to grow. Before marrying Kelly, she became a nurse and worked at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She and Kelly had four kids and she decided to raise her family and stay-at-home. This is where her design life took hold. She started helping friends as they built/remodeled their homes. This grew into a full-fledged design business. Kelly realized his clients were asking for the same guidance with their projects too. So, the two of them became Stutzman Homes and Design. Stephanie’s goal is to give the clients what they see as perfect for their homes. She listens to their desires and works hard to help them bring their visions to life.
